St Peter and St Paul, Alpheton

"The Church is situated immediately adjacent to the Hall and the Barns and like them it also is believed to date back to the 10th century albeit there is no indication of its dedication prior to the Reformation, it probably served as a chapel to the residents of the Hall."

The church has huge amount of atmosphere and has managed to defy the revages of modern technology and retains its oil lights, albeit the organist and vicar are permitted electric lighting and the organ is electric operated. Under pew electric heating is provided for those cold days.

You can't get a venue much closer to the parish church than this. Doors lead out from the barns directly into the church yard and the vicar even has his own door into the venue "The Friar's Door".
